These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

The Contract Between Us

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Lighting LAB to the Customer named on the Order Form.
Lighting LAB must receive payment in full for before the order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment is received Lighting LAB will confirm the receipt of your order by email to the email address provided in your registration form.
Lighting LAB’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non–exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
 

Payment Details

Lighting LAB accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and Delta. Your Details are Encrypted and then sent to a Secure Server.
All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling inclusive of VAT.

 

Your Right to Cancel

If you wish to cancel your orer prior to dispatch please notify us by email to lightinglab@lightinglab.co.uk

Availability of Goods You Order and Delivery

We aim to despatch the goods as early as possible after the Order has been received.
Stock products will be despatched within 2 working days of receipt of your Order.
Products that are out of stock should be despatched within 15 working days of receipt of your Order.
In the unlikely event that a product had to be Back Ordered and we were unable to meet the deadline, we would contact you and give you the Option to Cancel your Order without penalty, if you do not wish to wait.
To Protect your Credit / Debit Card and in the interests of Fraud Prevention we only deliver goods to the Cardholders Statement address.
We accept no liability for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any delay in the Delivery – Time for delivery shall not be of the essence.

For Deliveries to any other destination please e-mail your request.

Receipt of Delivery

Upon Collection or Delivery a valid Signature shall be required. You will be asked to sign for the Goods “Received in Good Condition” – If you are unable to open and check the goods in the Consignment at that time and verify that they are “Received In Good Condition.” You must still sign for the Consignment, but alongside your Signature write the word “Unchecked” – Failure to do so may affect any claims thereafter. You must also check to see that you are receiving the correct quantity of items that you are Signing for. You must detail any discrepancy along with your Signature. Any Claims for Shortages and or Damages must be made within 48 hours of receipt of your Delivery by e-mail, to lightinglab@lightinglab.co.ukk Retain the Packing of the Delivery in case you need to return any of the Goods.

Your Right to Return

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not, please follow these instructions for returning items.
If you change your mind for any reason and you wish to return your purchase you must notify us within 7 days from receiving it in writing by letter or email to lightinglab@lightinglab.co.uk
Unwanted items must be returned in a fully resaleable condition, which includes being in the original, unmarked and undamaged packaging within 10 days of receipt. Items must not have been used or assembled in any way. We retain the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resaleable.
We do not refund the return postage cost or the original delivery charge. We do not offer a free collection service. We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. If returning you purchase by mail we recommend that you get proof of postage.
You must include your customer order details with the package, as we cannot process a refund without these. Once received the items will be checked and a refund issued within four weeks. Items returned must arrive in perfect condition, including the packaging, so please ensure that they are packed well.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any item if the above conditions have not been met.

 

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Goods

If your purchase is not fit for purpose, faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund or replacement. We will require you to return the item, as it may be necessary to return it to the manufacturer. You must check all items and parts of items for damage prior to assembly. Include your customer order details with the package, as we cannot process the returned goods without these. Once received the items will be checked and a replacement or refund issued within four weeks.

Warranty/Guarantee

Lighting LAB guarantees all Goods (excluding light bulbs) for 1 year from the date of receipt against defective parts, materials and/or manufacture. A qualified and insured electrician must carry out installation of Goods otherwise this guarantee is void. If Goods have become compromised as a result of misuse this warranty is void.

Lighting LAB own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
These terms and conditions only cover the Lighting LAB website. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of any linked websites, which are not under our control.
While we endeavour to verify information placed on the Lighting LAB website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
